T H A N K - Y O U !
Lord God, whose blessings reach to the ends of the earth, you show us your love in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, whom we call Savior and Lord. We ask your continued blessing on all who gathered to support the Deerfield Lutheran Church High School Mission Team - those who were our guests, those who came to share their talents in our talent competition, our judges, our master of ceremonies, our Mission Team members, chaperons, and OUR PARENTS....

Confirm us in our common faith that we may work together to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in word and deed as we continue preparation to be the hands and feet of Christ in Coastal North Carolina. AMEN.

Serving others....

Friday night, March 19th, the Deerfield High School Gym was set for a banquet of Prime Rib or Chicken Cordon Bleu prepared by Todd Dukes - Exceptional Catering and served by the Deerfield Lutheran High School Mission Team. The team will be traveling to Coastal North Carolina in June. More than 150 guests enjoyed the meal and took part in raffle drawings and a silent auction that was made possible by the generous donations from area businesses and individuals. Marv Dorhorst did a wonderful job as the evening's MC.

Mission Team ~ Deerfield's Got Talent

Mission Team Preparing...

There was much preparation that went into putting on the Deerfield's Got Talent Event. From sending out letters to making lots of calls...from sign-making to table decorations...and the most important preparation was learning to work together as the "Hands and Feet of Christ".
March 19th arrives!
